Alrighty.... got up this morning and headed down to SpeedFetish's New Shop in Conroe.... they have lots more room now... Went there to get the hole drilling for my Turbo Drain Bulkhead...
Here's the pics...
Used a Step Drill to open it up.... very perfect...

Close up..

Had to clean out all the shavings from the drilling before i did anything... O yea... Stamp of approval...

Cleaned out and wipped clean...

Now... when I first bought the Bulkheads (-10AN) I bought a 45 degree one than later did some research and bought a 90 degree as well to see which one would work out best... Both were bought at Turbo-Supply.com... Excellent Customer Service and products I must say...
Supplies... 45 + 90 -10AN Bulkheads with Nut, Stat-o-seals (7/8), -10AN female swivel hose end, and Some leftover Heater Hose with 2 tie Straps (to blockoff til the actually Install)...

Fitting of the Bulkheads and there positsion on the actually motor...
90 Degree

As you can see in the last pic, the bulkhead is extremely close to the block which is very bad cuz of the heat might burn up the tube and be a PITA to install the Hose End Fittend...
So I tried the 45 Degree...

And as you can see the 45 Degree is ok but clearance from the Axle was an issue.... I tried to put the Hose End Fittend but couldn't cuz of the limited space... So If did it this way the hose would be riding on the Axle...
So I put my Brain to work... I decided to use the 90 Degree cuz of the easiness of installing but had to find a way to get some clearance from the Block... Thought it out and talked to my very resourcefull retard... and came up with this...

And BAM!!!! The clearance I was looking for....

I have a New Oil Pan Gasket thats going on it... The one that was on it looked fairly new but I decided to change it anyways.... Better safe then sorry...
Waitin on my Stepdad to get home now to help me tighten the shit out of the bulkhead so I can put it all back togther and to drive my neon again...

Oil pan is ready to go back on.... Tighten the Bulkhead nuts with some Vise Grips and I also put a hose clamp on the Blockoff hose as a precaution...

Next thing will be the mounting of the FMIC and Piping... Will be sometime next week when it gets here...
Til then..

Got the FMIC today... Bought it from Groundlevel Imports today off of Beltway 8 and Telephone rd.. Long drive but well for it...
Here's the Johnny Race Car Fmic...

Was gonna use the eclipse Smic that I have but it would have needed alot of custom work to it to fit on the neon... So I'm getting rid of it...
Fmic>Smic= More power...
If it stops raining enough... I'll go gets some bolts and washers and bolt it up...

The Dimensions are:
Length (inlet to inlet): 34 inches
The Core: 25 inches
Thicknest: 2.5 inches
Width of core: 8.5 iches
Inlet/outlet size: 2.5 inches
Perfect in every way from my setup and front bumper...
And if they did, I would have bought both of them...

Finally had time to test fit the FMIC....
Thought it was gonna be to big but it came out perfect...

Gotta stop by Speedfetish so they can add some brackets to it so that it would move as much... Gonna do that some time next week (hopefully tuesday)... Other that it's perfect...
For shitts and giggles...

Needs more work but I plan to have it finished and installed before the turbo goes in, which should be sometime this week or next...
